Our office sends over 90% of prescriptions electronically. We now participate with Surescripts, which makes that possible very easily. In order to request refills, you have the following options, in the order of preference. Call your pharmacy for prescription refills Inform your pharmacy that our office can send eprescriptions. The pharmacy, if it participates with Surescripts, will send us an electronic request. We will try and fill that prescription in 24-48 hours. The process is faster and avoids errors. You can do that even when our office is closed and you don't have to tie your and our phone line. It helps us to serve you better freeing the staff for other tasks. If you live close to the Somerset office: Click here to see if your pharmacy can do ePrescriptions Go to our Patient Portal and request refillIf your pharmacy does not participate in eprescribing, you can log into your account in our patient portal. You will need a user name and password, which our office can provide you. You can request a prescription over the web and the staff will fill it for you. Call us Call our office at 732-846-7000 and pick the option to request a prescription refill and leave a message. Our staff will complete the request in 1-2 business days. NO WEEKEND REFILLS We do not refill prescriptions over the weekend. Please keep an eye on your medications and get them refilled in time during weekdays. |
